As we begin to recover from the busy summer season it is time to bring you up to date on the Treasure Valley!

In June our office started off running and the race has just now begun to slow down.  We expect that the final four months of 2014 will continue to be strong although we are not quite keeping up with last year's pace. 

What we are seeing is more inventory coming online below the $160,000 range.  This will release some pent up demand among first time buyers. The average Days on Market in August were 53; six more days than last month. That is showing the slowing effect.  August median home price was $218,990; up 9.5% from August 2013. Our YTD median price is $209,900; up 8% over last year. That shows us median price is strong and getting stronger.
