My husband and I were lucky enough to have Jeff answer an online inquiry when we began house hunting.  He contacted us immediately and put together a list of houses that were in our price range.  Our house hunting experience ended up spanning about six months because we tried a couple of short sales.  Through it all he was on top of everything, very accommodating with our schedules, and very open about the properties we were seeing.  He was quick to point out potential problems with the properties, and very honest with our questions.  If he didn't know something, he told us.  He never showed us something that was above our budget and never pressured us.  I loved how personal our experience with Stewart Realty was.  We have just moved into our first home and we love it!  It was a long journey, but it was nice to have somebody so experienced that we could trust to make that journey with us.  We recommend Jeff to all our friends, and if we ever need more property in the future, Jeff will be the first person we call.

After living 30 years in Alaska we finally moved the family to the L-48 before the kids got cemented in high school.  Our final reconnaissance after 7000mi in our RV to select a city concluded and we pulled into the treasure valley as our new home. We knew no one compounded by school starting the week we arrived but we also knew our resourcefulness would prevail. We started looking at schools and homes with very unique objectives for both.  By chance alone we came across Jeff’s business card at an RV park and the owner who knew our now famous travel story, who by the way was one of those outstanding people you meet in your travels, told us Jeff was just what we needed right now.After contacting Jeff and meeting that day our total quality of life we enjoy today in the valley was set in motion.  While home selection was important, we and Jeff knew that getting the kids enrolled in school had the highest priority…. but what city we would live in was still unknown.  Jeff not only educated us on the unique aspects of the school district rules but he also could tell that we had some specific objectives for each of our kids. Jeff is a professional who recognizes people have to decide and figure out their major decisions themselves, even though he knew how to quickly get us in some direction.  This is important to me as most will just give the info and basic help, but with the objective to minimize their time and effort.  Not so Jeff, he outlined an approach to interview the potential schools while he lobbied a charter school he just knew we would end up settling on.  This was an effort for him in itself as there were only openings in one grade, but he also knew once you get one in and the family shows involvement with school, the likelihood both would be accepted was high. Jeff was patient with us, which was a lot to say, but yet he also knew when and how to move us steadily ahead which is one of his unique strengths. We ended up right where he thought we would ultimately choose but let us get there ourselves, and with his foresight we not only got both kids in but have become part of the schools current personality.So what about real-estate?  Well to me the above is one element if you’re moving. There are only a few real gems out there that will go to the above extent and have the unique personality and experience to do it well.  For me there are two basic types of purchasing property, i.e. home and investment. With the home, Jeff understood what we described to him, he narrowed the listings well to where we had multiple homes to choose from, spent more time than I thought possible with us as we are only one client, and bless his heart put up with me and my wife’s unique drive.  Jeff was able to get us the place we most wanted even though another was bidding; to include it was in short sale.  I here war stories all the time but this was relatively painless… maybe luck but I think not.  My handyman and many other service providers have come from Jeff’s knowledge of the valley.With the above going so well, we jumped right into the investment rentals.  Jeff’s investment professionalism fits me perfectly; he searches for properties and lets me know when something that meets my objectives hit the market. He knows how to bid them, when not to, and most importantly, I can have an honest, professional debate with him where he tells me what he thinks whether I like it or not as well as me doing the same with him.  In business you have to have someone you truly trust, not a yes person that gives you just what you want, but a professional that understands you and the market you are both in.  Jeff will search records and locations more than most anybody or at least he does it positively –vs- many disgruntled.
